John Arthur is a 6th Grade Teacher in the Salt Lake City School District. He is a National Board Certified Teacher, the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year, and a 2021 National Teacher of the Year Finalist. He serves on the Board of Directors for West Ed, Spy Hop, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, Voices for Utah Children, and IncludEd United. He is also part of the leadership team for The Teacher Fellows and the Utah National Board Coalition, and he is the author of "The Digital Projects Playbook: A Step-by-Step Guide to Empowering Students as Creators."
