Michael Echols earned a high school diploma from the Prairie View Academy. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2001 and his B.A. in accounting from ULM in 1999. His professional experience includes serving as director of business development for Vantage Health Plan Incorporated. He previously served as associate vice president of marketing and communication for the University of Louisiana Monroe from 2007 to 2010 and was chief operations officer for Oglesby Financial Group from 2000 to 2007.
