Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Sandy Rosenberg earned a B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College in 1972 and a J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 1975. His career includes work as a Producer and Assistant to Program Manager for “Square Off” at WJZ-TV from 1976-79, and as a Program Administrator for the Housing Authority of Baltimore City from 1975-76 and 1979-81. He served as the Executive Director of the Homeless Persons Representation Project from 1989-90 and has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore and University of Maryland Schools of Law since 1990. Prior to his legislative career, he was a Legislative Assistant on Capitol Hill. Rosenberg was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1982 and has served in the chamber since 1983, holding numerous leadership positions including committee chairs and assistant floor leadership throughout his tenure.
