Rep. Mike Lee is the representative of District 50, Kailua to Kāne‘ohe Bay. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Labor Committee and a member of the Culture & Arts and Finance Committees. Rep. Lee is passionate about education, public safety, and protecting our natural resources. He is an active member of his community and has served on the Kailua Neighborhood Board, Windward Neighborhood Security Watch, Kalāheo High School Natural Resource Academy Advisory Board, Pali Lions Club, and the Hawai'i Federation of USA Wrestling. During his first term in the Hawaiʻi State Legislature, Representative Mike Lee served as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Labor for two legislative sessions and became an active voice for working families, public schools, kūpuna, environmental stewardship, public safety, and community infrastructure. His work has focused on protecting Hawaiʻi’s environment, supporting kūpuna, strengthening public education, improving working conditions, honoring veterans, and delivering resources back to Windward Oʻahu. As a freshman legislator, Representative Lee successfully passed 6 measures as the first primary introducer.
