
Juan Alanis earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement administration from California State University, Stanislaus, in 2017. His career experience includes working as a sergeant, patrol watch commander, acting police chief, and SWAT team member for the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, and as a school resource officer in Stanislaus County, California. Alanis volunteered as the Valley chapter vice president for the Peace Officers Research Association of California, vice president of the Deputy Sheriff Association and committee chair of the California Office of Emergency Service Search and Rescue Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
