Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, Jay A. Jacobs is a business owner and former mayor of Rock Hall. He has served in the Maryland House of Delegates since 2011, having been first elected in 2010. During his public service career, he has served as a member of the Maryland Municipal League, the Kent County Council of Governments, and as vice mayor of Rock Hall. He is a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Rock Hall.
