Representative Aaron Crossley, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 29) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2022. In addition to his legislative service, Crossley works as a behavioral health business strategist and project manager at a local safety-net hospital. A Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Crossley has spent two decades in roles focused on social and community service. Crossley is deeply engaged in his community, having served on several boards and commissions, including the Independence Chamber of Commerce Foundation and others that address health, housing, and the arts. He is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Missouri Cattlemen's Association, and Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 6400. He holds degrees from Appalachian Bible College and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Born in Independence, Crossley resides there with his wife and their two children. He is an active member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
