Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Mark Edelson was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in November 2022 and has been a member of the House since January 11, 2023. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice and a law degree. Professionally, he has served as an attorney at Goldman & Goldman and is currently a partner at Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin, White. He has been involved with various organizations, including serving as President of the Canton Community Association and holding board positions with Transit Choices, the Baltimore Jewish Council, and The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore.
