At the time of his 2017 run for city council, Yeger was a senior advisor and counsel to New York City Councilman David G. Greenfield and the executive director and counsel for Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.'s re-election campaign. His experience also includes service as a member of Community Board 14 and work as an advisor to Councilmen Alan Maisel, Lew Fidler, David Yassky, and Michael Nelson, New York Sen. Simcha Felder, Borough Presidents Melinda Katz, Eric Adams, and Fernando Ferrer.
