Meagan A. Flynn is a judge for Position 3 of the Oregon Supreme Court. She assumed office on April 1, 2017. Her current term ends on January 6, 2031. Flynn won re-election for the Position 3 judge of the Oregon Supreme Court outright in the primary on May 21, 2024, after the general election was canceled. Flynn was first appointed to the Oregon Supreme Court by Governor Kate Brown on April 1, 2017, to replace the retired Richard C. Baldwin. She was subsequently elected to the court in a nonpartisan election in 2018. The court elected Flynn chief justice in December 2022, effective January 1, 2023. Flynn was formerly a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals, Position 7. She was appointed to the court by former Governor John Kitzhaber on September 25, 2014. Flynn succeeded Judge Robert Wollheim, who retired from the court on October 31, 2014.
