Representative Nicholeen Peck began her legislative service on January 1, 2025. She represents House District 28, which covers Tooele and parts of Stansbury Park, Mills Junction, and Lake Point Junction. Nicholeen Peck has dedicated much of her life to education, family advocacy, and public service. Nicholeen was raised by a school teacher and a mother who taught her how to love learning, make something out of nothing, serve others, and work hard. She pursued her education at Snow College and George Wythe University. She taught school for 23 years and has become a well-known speaker at education conferences, focusing on mentoring families in relationships, behavior, and adult skill development through Teaching Self-Government. Nicholeen is also internationally recognized for her work defending faith, family, and sovereignty, particularly as President of the Worldwide Organization for Women. She has advocated for Utah values at the Utah State Capitol, fought to protect Utah's children, and served as a global advocate for families. Nicholeen and her husband have lived in Tooele for 27 years and have raised four children. They now have three in-law children and four grandchildren. They have also fostered many children over the years. Nicholeen is passionate about gardening, sewing, fitness, and spending time with her family. She enjoys reading, studying, camping, and genealogy, and loves meeting new people. With her diverse professional and personal experiences, Nicholeen's mission is to continue serving her community, advocating for children and families, and living out her values with her loved ones.
