
After graduating from the police academy, Brian returned home to protect and serve his neighbors and fellow community members. He has helped keep Shiawassee County safe for over 30 years. Prior to being elected to the Michigan House of Representatives, Brian worked in law enforcement for 32 years, including six as Shiawassee County Sheriff. He served as chairman of the Law Enforcement Officers Regional Training Commission and was an executive board member of the Michigan Sheriffs Association. Brian comes from a family of public servants. His father was an attorney for 34 years and a judge in Shiawassee County’s 66th District Court for 16 years.
