
Born in Prince George's County, Maryland, Julian Ivey served as a member of the Cheverly Town Council from 2017 to 2019. He was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018 and has been a member of the House since January 9, 2019. Throughout his tenure, he has served on various committees, including the Appropriations Committee and the Ways and Means Committee, and held roles such as Deputy Majority Whip. His public service includes membership on the Chesapeake Bay Commission and the Maryland Legislative Latino Caucus, as well as the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland.
