
Angela M. Eaves is a judge for the 2nd Circuit of the Maryland Supreme Court. She assumed office on April 12, 2022. Her current term ends on December 31, 2034. Eaves ran for re-election for the 2nd Circuit judge of the Maryland Supreme Court. She won in the retention election on November 5, 2024. Eaves became a member of the court through gubernatorial appointment. Gov. Larry Hogan appointed Eaves to the position on February 17, 2022. The Maryland State Senate confirmed the appointment on March 15, 2022. The court's name changed from the Maryland Court of Appeals to the Maryland Supreme Court, following a ballot initiative that voters approved in November 2022.
