Zach Hudson is a lifelong Oregonian who grew up in Ashland. He attended Ashland High School, earned a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Winchester in England, and a Master of Education degree from Portland State University. He has been teaching in public schools around East Multnomah County since 2005, including Corbett High School, Reynolds High School, Gresham High School and Mt. Hood Community College. He currently teaches special education at local schools while the legislature is not in session. Before being elected to the legislature, he served on the Troutdale City Council, Troutdale Budget Committee and Troutdale Citizens Advisory Committee.
