Ky Holland is the representative for Alaska House District 9, covering the south Anchorage hillside to Girdwood and the City of Whittier. He grew up in Anchorage and has four decades of experience as an engineer, business manager, university educator, and consultant. His career has included work in mining, construction, oil and gas, public safety, water and wastewater, and a variety of related industrial products, training, and technologies. In the community, he has been on boards addressing housing, workforce development, economic development, innovation, and local community engagement. A lifelong Alaskan, he has combined his professional experience with a deep commitment to community service, working to foster sustainable development, improve educational opportunities, and advocate for resilience infrastructure and affordable energy.
