Born in Puebla, Mexico, on September 2, 1991, Teresa Woorman attended Montgomery County Public Schools and Northwest High School in Germantown, graduating in 2009. She went on to earn an A.A. in International Business from Montgomery College in 2012 and a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2015. Her career has included roles as a legislative director and chief of staff in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2016 to 2021, deputy finance director for Brooke Lierman for Maryland in 2021, and campaign manager for Marc Elrich for County Executive from 2021 to 2022. She also served as a campaign manager for Pete Fosselman for County Council District 1 in 2018 and for the 21st District Democratic Team from 2018 to 2019. Currently, she serves as a Public Information Officer for the Montgomery County Government.
