Glenn Jeffries is a member of the West Virginia State Senate, representing District 8. He assumed office in 2016. His current term ends on December 1, 2028. Jeffries ran for re-election to the West Virginia State Senate to represent District 8. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024. On December 1, 2022, Jeffries announced that he was leaving the Democratic Party and would register as a Republican.
