
Aundré Bumgardner is serving his third non-consecutive term as State Representative for Connecticut’s 41st House District, proudly representing the people of Groton, Mystic, and Stonington in the Connecticut General Assembly. Bumgardner was first elected in 2014 at age 20, becoming the youngest state representative in Connecticut history. He later served as Outreach Coordinator in the Office of the State Treasurer. From 2018 to 2023, Bumgardner served on the Groton Town Council, where he chaired the Public Safety Committee and served on the Rules Committee and the Long-Term Recovery Committee established during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also previously served on the Board of the Southeastern Area Transit District and on the Groton City Planning & Zoning Commission. A lifelong Groton resident, Bumgardner lives in Mystic with his wife and their dog.
