
State Representative Brooks Landgraf proudly represents House District 81 in the Texas House of Representatives, serving the people of Ector, Loving, Ward, and Winkler counties in the heart of the Permian Basin. A native son of Odessa, Brooks comes from a fifth-generation West Texas ranching family and remains actively involved in his family’s cattle business. He is an experienced attorney whose work in the energy and healthcare sectors has shaped his steady, practical approach to public service. Landgraf has served in the Texas House since 2015. A 1999 graduate of Permian High School, Brooks joined the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M graduating with honors in 2003. Landgraf then earned his law degree in 2008 from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where he served as editor-in-chief of the law review. Brooks is a proud Eagle Scout and remains deeply committed to service and community leadership.
