Ashley B. Moody was born in Plant City, Florida in 1975. She earned a bachelor's and a graduate degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1993 and 1996 respectively, a J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 2000, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in international law from Stetson University College of Law in 2010. Her career experience includes working as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Florida, an associate at the law firm Holland & Knight LLP, an assistant to the president of the American Bar Association, and an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law. Moody served as a judge for the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida from 2007 to 2017 and as Attorney General of Florida from 2019 to 2025.
