Farmed and ranched in Clifton, Idaho for 38 years; earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from BYU, Provo, Utah; owned and operated several successful small businesses; serves on the local school board (2013 – present); serves on the State Farm Bureau Board (2015 – present); served on the American Farm Bureau Organic and Direct Marketing Committees; recipient of FFA Honorary State Farmer Degree (2012).
