Nicholas Fosness (also known as Nick) is a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 1. He assumed office on August 5, 2025. His current term ends on January 12, 2027. Fosness is running for re-election to the South Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 1. He is on the ballot in the Republican primary on June 2, 2026. Larry Rhoden appointed Fosness to the South Dakota House of Representatives on August 5, 2025, to replace Christopher Reder.
