Born in Detroit, Senator Paul Wojno is a lifelong resident of Michigan and the 10th senate district. He is serving his second term in the Michigan Senate. As state senator, Wojno has worked on legislation to protect and prioritize Michigan senior citizens, improve our education system, combat human trafficking, provide resources and aid to those struggling with substance abuse and protect voter’s rights. Wojno served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1997 to 2002. In 2002, Wojno was named Democrat of the Year by the Warren/Center Line Democrats for his involvement in championing issues on behalf of veteran services, women’s rights, senior citizens, equality and social justice, and environmental safety. Wojno is a graduate of Center Line High school. He attended Macomb Community College, the University of Michigan, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University.
