Sharon Wylie is a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing District 49-Position 1. She assumed office in 2011. Her current term ends on January 11, 2027. She was first appointed to the chamber to fill the vacancy left from Jim Jacks' resignation. Beginning in the 2013 session, Wylie served as Assistant Majority Whip. On January 16, 2026, Wylie announced she would not run for re-election to the Washington House of Representatives District 49-Position 1 in 2026 in order to run for Clark County Auditor in Washington.
